For his brilliant form this season, Egyptian and Liverpool Striker, Mohammed Salah has been gifted the UEFA Champions League Player of the Week Award ahead of current world player of the year Cristiano Ronaldo,  mostly for his scintillating performance, goal and wonderful assist  against fellow English English side, Manchester City in their first leg quarter final clash played at Anfield in the course of the week which ended 3-0 in favour of the reds.

The talented Striker has been in the form of his life since the commencement of the season, especially leading his country to the world cup mundial after years of absence as well as helping his club Liverpool in the English premier league in a top three position while also currently topping the goal scorers chart with about 30 goals so far.

His club however will be facing an uphill task against current EPL table toppers, Manchester City in the second leg of the UCL come next week even as Mo Sallah and his team go into the clash with a three goal advantage.
