The Governor of Ekiti state, Ayodele Fayose has recommended the chairman of Peoples Democratic Party governorship primaries, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa to the All Progressives Congress for Saturday rescheduled primaries. Fresh report reaching NEWS FLAKES NG as at PRESS TIME has it that the Deputy Governor of Ekiti State, Prof. Kolapo Olusola Eleka, has just emerged the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party for the July 14, 2018 governorship election in the state. Eleka, backed by his boss, Governor Ayo Fayose, defeated the only other candidate for the election and National Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Prince Dayo Adeyeye. Senator Abiodun Olujimi had before the commencement of voting stepped down for Adeyeye.
