2019: APC drops ‘Change’ slogan, adopts ‘Progress’

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has dropped the ‘Change’ slogan and adopted ‘Progress’ as its new slogan.  Vanguard reports that the party made this change at its convention on Sunday, June 24. One of the masters of ceremonies at the convention reportedly announced that delegates should no longer chorus ‘change’ anytime the name of the party is chanted. 15 feared dead in Cross River/Ebonyi clash

Fifteen persons are feared killed in renewed hostilities between the Igbeagu Community in Izzi Local Government Area of Ebonyi State and the Ukelle Community in Yala Local Government Area of Cross River State. Popular Nigerian Singer and entertainer, D’banj and wife Lineo Didi have lost their son, Daniel. Daniel Oyebanjo III who turned a year in May died on Sunday after he drowned inside a pool at Dbanj’s residence in ikoyi, Lagos State.
