TRAGEDY: One dead, two injured as train crushes commercial bus in Agege

NEWS FLAKES NG gathers that One person has died while two others were seriously injured when a train crushed a commercial bus on Friday morning at Agege. 2019 ELECTIONS: Police, Civil Defence Demand N317m To Feed Dogs, Horses

Security operatives are demanding millions of naira to feed security animals to make them more operational. NEWS FLAKES NG gathers that the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps will need N310m to feed and administer drugs to dogs that will be deployed in states for the 2019 elections. The Nigeria Police Force will also require N7m to feed 50 horses that would be used for patrol during the elections which will take place between February 16 and March 2, 2019. ASSASSINATION ATTEMPT: Police deny assassination attempt on Dino Melaye, asks him to report

PDP threatens to boycott 2019 elections

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has threatened to boycott the 2019 general elections. PDP national chairman, Prince Uche Secondus , stated this at a meeting with the leadership of the National Democratic Institute (NDI) and the International Republican Institute (IRI) at the party secretariat in Abuja. The meeting was to evaluate the conduct of the just concluded Ekiti State gubernatorial election  as both the NDI and IRI were members of the international observers during the governorship poll.
