EID-EL-KABIR: Ogun OMPAN felicitates with Muslims, urges celebration with moderation, sober reflection, good governance

– commends Gov Amosun’s Urban renewal and  Physical planning drive

Association of Online Media Practitioners of Nigeria (OMPAN), Ogun State Chapter has felicitated with Muslims across Ogun and beyond on the occasion of the year’s annual Eid-el-Kabir celebrations.

In a release signed by the state’s group’s Public Relations Officer, Comrade John Izabi, the Association urged all Muslims and indeed other members of the public to celebrate with moderation and a deep reflection about our collective existence.

It however urged government at all levels to continue to do more in improving the welfare and living standards of the people even as it also charged the masses to remain supportive and prayerful for a continued peaceful co-existence that will pave way for rapid growth and development of the country.

The release reads in part:

“As we merry and thank God for sparing our lives to witness this year’s celebration, let’s embrace peace, tolerance and unity at all levels.”

“We however urge everyone of us to celebrate with moderation and deep reflection about our collective existence and show utmost love and care to one and another.”

“Let’s continue to support and pray for our leaders and the continued sustenance of peace across the land in order to pave way for continued rapid socio-economic and political developments of our dear country.”

Ogun OMPAN commends Governor Amosun’s Urban and Physical Planning drive

Meanwhile, the group also commended the Governor Ibikunle Amosun – led government’s drive towards transforming the Urban and Physical outlook of the state while urging the government to do more in further improving the living standards of the indigenes.

“Meanwhile, we charge the ever-supportive and hardworking government of Ogun State, under the able leadership of Senator Ibikunle Ikhil Amosun (FCA, CON) to do more in trade boosting, human capital and youth development commensurate to the state government’s drive at ensuring massive Urban and Physical renewal as well as other life enhancing capital projects across the state so as to further improve the living standards of the people while continuing to make the state, a media friendly one at all times”.

However, the group led by Comrade Kayode Akin – Samuel, pledged continued support to the governments at all levels through responsible digital practice and development – focused online activities that will pave way for a better society.
