NEWS FLAKES NG gathers that Premier League side Arsenal have land Nigeria-born Jayden Adetiba, who previously reside in the UK, after a five-week trial.

According to a UK Sun report, the nine-year-old youngster who spent most of his early life in South Africa, has been plying his trade with SuperSport United Soccer School.

Reacting about his switch to the Emirates side, Adetiba who is a die-hard fan of the Gunners says he is excited at earning a “dream” switch.

“I thank God and my parents for this. I am very happy.

” I train three times a week at the academy and we have a match at the weekend.

“The amazing thing is, I have always been an Arsenal fan and I will work hard every day to make the first team,” admitted Adetiba, who adores Cristiano Ronaldo and rates Super Eagles ace Alex Iwobi as his favourite Arsenal star.

“Ronaldo because of his hard work, and Iwobi because he was at the Arsenal academy at the age of seven and now plays for the first team,” Adetiba added.

Speaking about his son’s move to Arsenal, his proud dad, John disclosed that the Adetiba’s are lovers of the round leather game.

“Jayden’s older brother spent three years at the Blackburn Rovers Academy and recently signed with Ebbsfleet United Academy.

Our middle son is also playing football and recently signed with a local team,”  he summed up.

Meanwhile, our source previously had reported that Nigeria and Arsenal legend Nwankwo Kanu is upbeat that the Emirates dwellers have a top quality in Nigeria’s midfielder Kelechi Nwakali, who is currently on loan at Portuguese side, FC Porto.

According to a UK Daily Star report citing sources at Goal, Papilo as he was fondly called during his active days, revealed that Nwakali, who also doubles as his nephew is a gem with the ball and ought to be at the Premier League side. “Very, very good player,” Kanu told .
