Meet Adeola Ahmed, FUNAAB’s first Female Students Union President After 31yrs of Existence [READ MORE]

AdeolaTawakalt Ahmed popularly known as D’ola has emerged as the first female Student Union President of the Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta, Ogun State (FUNAAB) since the university was established 31 years ago.

D’ola is a 400 Level student of the department of Animal Breeding and Genetics, College of Animal Science and Livestock Production (COLANIM), of the university.

NEWS FLAKES NG further gathered that the new President of the Student Union after her emergence has assured her fellow students and the entire University Community that she won’t run a gender biased union.

She said “This is not a unionism of gender, but a unionism of all by all and for all. Remember, we’re all FUNAABITES, we are one big family”.

She reacted to the probability of non-performance based on gender consideration, by saying “I want you to take off your mind from any gender sentiment in respect to my ability to deliver as the President, I want to assure you that this Administration will deliver beyond imagination”.

D’ola also promised that her team will be good ambassador of the University in and outside the campus and will always portray the image of the Institution in good light.
