BREAKING: Court orders forfeiture of Saraki’s houses in Ikoyi

  LAGOS – A federal high court sitting in Lagos has ordered the temporary forfeiture of two properties of Bukola Saraki, former senate president, in the Ikoyi area of Lagos state. Nnaemeka Omewa, a counsel of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission ( EFCC) had approached the court, seeking an order of interim forfeiture of the properties located at 17A McDonald Road, Ikoyi, Eti Osa local government area of Lagos. Buhari Govt Secures Fresh $3bn World Bank Loan

  Minister of Finance, Mrs Zainab Ahmed, says the federal government has secured a $3bnloan from the World Bank. According to the Finance Minister, the loan is to be used for reforming the nation’s power sector. Mrs Ahmed announced the approval of the loan at a news conference to wrap up the World Bank/IMF annual meetings in Washington DC on Sunday. Man dies while jogging in Lagos

  LAGOS – A yet-to-be-identified man collapsed and died while jogging on Sunday morning on the WEMCO Road, in the Ogba area of Lagos State. Tragedy as groom slumps, dies during wedding

EBONYI – There was a tragedy in Amasiri in the Afikpo North Local Government Area of Ebonyi State on Saturday as a bridegroom, Chukwuemeka Onwuka, who slumped at the reception was rushed to hospital but later died.
