Thieves break into Bayelsa gov’s office, over N.8b missing

Seven Policemen attached to the office of the Deputy Chief of Staff to the Bayelsa State Government House, Mrs. Ebizi Ndiomu-Brown have been arrested over their alleged involvement in the theft of N800million from the office. The alleged theft, which occurred on Wednesday night, was discovered on Thursday morning and the safe where the cash was kept was reportedly vandalised. Sources close to the office of the Deputy Chief of staff, confirmed that the office where the money was kept ,which had two entrances, was burgled. Gov Abiodun appoints Tpl Chokor as Ogun new Head of Service
