2020 UTME: JAMB asks candidates to get NIN or forget about registration

LAGOS – The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board(JAMB) has called on all prospective candidates for its 2020 UTME to acquire the National Identification Number( NIN). The board’s Spokesman, Dr Fabian Benjamin said that the aim was to ensure the biometric and other necessary details of a candidate were captured, to check examination malpractice. IBADAN – The Federal High Court in Ibadan was in disarray as the Federal High Judge ordered the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to produce the 106 boxes, containing the N900 million allegedly stolen by two bank workers. Leah Sharibu’s school shut down indefinitely following Boko Haram attack on Babangida

YOBE – Authorities of Government Girls’ Science Technical College, Dapchi, Yobe State, have decided to shut down the shut down the school indefinitely following the last weekend’s Boko Haram attack on Babangida town in Tarmuwa Local Government Area.  Babangida is about 50 kilometres from Dapchi.
