Gunmen Kidnap College Of Education Provost In Benue

BENUE – The Benue Police Command said on Monday that gunmen have kidnapped the Provost, College of Education, Katsina Ala, Mr Tsavwua Gborigyo. The State Police Public Relations Office, DSP Catherine Anene, told NAN in Makurdi that the provost was abducted during the weekend. Anene disclosed that the provost was kidnapped at Ihugh in Vandiekya on his way back from a burial. First Class Graduate Who Wrote Jamb Six Times Dies After Completing NYSC Programme

Simon Godwin Idoko, the young man, who graduated with First Class degree in Pure and Applied Chemistry from the Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto State is dead. It was gathered that Idoko died on Monday at the age of 29 few days after completing his National Youth Service Corps, NYSC. Security man tied, two female students injured as armed robbers attack another UI hostel again

Barely four weeks after the Obafemi Awolowo female hostel in University of Ibadan was invaded, robbers again attacked Abdulsalam Abubakar Hall of the university in the early hours of Sunday and injured two students. Robbers had attacked Obafemi Awolowo hall on July 11, 2019 and injured female students.
