Court Docks 39-yr-old man for allegedly stealing N19.2m – worth MTN property

LAGOS – 39 year-old man, Imoleayo Benson, on Friday appeared before an Ikorodu Chief Magistrates’ Court in Lagos State for allegedly stealing 24 MTN backup batteries worth N19.2 million. Benson, whose address was not provided, is facing a two-count charge bordering on conspiracy and felony to wit stealing. The defendant, however, pleaded not guilty to the charges. A three-storey building has collapsed at No. 22, Nkisi Aroli Street, Onitsha in Anambra State following a downpour just as the Babajide Sanwo-Olu administration admits that there are a lot of “distressed buildings” in Lagos State. Thief Dies Inside Lagos Church After Getting Stuck In Burglary Proof During Operation [SEE VIDEOS]

LAGOS – A church burglar has died after getting stuck in a church’s burglar-proof during an overnight operation in Abule Egba, Lagos. Civil Defence nabs man for allegedly defiling daughter for three years

LAGOS – The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Lagos Command, has arrested a 46-year-old man, Mr. Chinedu Ifeleka, for sexually abusing his 14-year-old daughter for more than three years. According to the statement by the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the corps, Mrs. Kehinde Bada-Okoli, yesterday, the suspect was arrested on September 6 at Mapowu Street, Ojo area of Lagos. LAGOS – A 37-year-old man, Seyi Onayemi, committed suicide in Ikorodu estate in Lagos state on Friday August 30th. Truck crushes OPay motorcycle operator to death

LAGOS – Barely 72 hours after a truck belonging to a cement company rammed into a BRT bus killing three and injuring many others in Lagos, another truck conveying cows yesterday crushed an operator of motorbike ride-hailing service, ORide (OPay), to death at Iyana-Itire bus-stop on the Oshodi-Apapa expressway.
