Ogun State House of Assembly has acknowledged the receipt of a correspondence from the State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, communicating the list of names of 18 commissioner – nominees to the Assembly for confirmation.  According to Head of Information Unit of Ogun State House of Assembly, Lawal Jamiu, Speaker, Rt. Dapo Abiodun of Ogun on Thursday sent names of 18 commissioner – nominees to Ogun House of Assembly for confirmation.  The Speaker of the Assembly, Olakunle Oluomo , read the governor’s letter containing the names during plenary in Abeokuta. Gov Abiodun appoints Tpl Chokor as Ogun new Head of Service

Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has appointed Mrs. Amope Ajibola Chokor as the new Head of Service in the State. The former Head of Service, Lanre Bisiriyu had on Friday, alongside 11 Permanent Secretaries bowed out of the public service of the State. Gov Abiodun Presents N449.97bn Budget 2020 to Ogun Assembly

Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun on Tuesday presented the 2020 Appropriation Bill to the State House of Assembly. The Governor presented the proposed budget, tagged, “Budget to Build Our Future Together” at the State House of Assembly Complex in Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, the State capital. The proposed budget has an increment of N49.674 billion as against 400.3billion of 2019 budget. Governor Abiodun while giving the breakdown of the propsed budget, disclosed that Capital expenditure will gulp N269,132 billion representing 60percent while Recurrent Expenditure stood at N180, 842 billion which is 39.69percent.
