  President Muhammadu Buhari has signed the 2020 appropriation bill into law. He signed the bill at about 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The National Assembly had on December 5, 2019, passed the budget estimates presented by Mr Buhari on October 8, 2019. The National Assembly increased the budget estimates from N10.33 trillion to N10.50 trillion. Nigerian football club signs player for N5,000

A football club In Kano, Kano state of Nigeria, Super Stars club, has signed a new player, Ibrahim Salisu Iriyos, for a club-record of N5,000. Super Stars plays a division two football club in Kano State FA league. According to BBC Pidgin, the transfer is the most expensive one in the town as Iriyos used to play for Aston Villa Gano, before his transfer to Super Stars. It was reported that Iriyos was known for scoring goals and showed interest in playing for Super Stars before he got signed.
