Nigerian professional footballer gets indefinite suspension for slapping referee

  A Nigerian professional footballer, Yakubu Hassan has been ban indefinitely from playing football by the Nasarawa State Football Association for slapping a centre referee during a football match. Hassan, who plays for ”Dubagari Football Club”, Lafia, a local team in Nasarawa state slapped a centre referee Kasimu Ahmadu during a football match with another local team, Winda Force Football Club on October 29 after he was cautioned for an infringement.   NEWS FLAKES NG gathers that an Indian lawyer, Dinesh Parate, is facing a criminal contempt of court charge after he assaulted a Bombay High court judge, who had given a judgement,  he didn’t like. According to Afternoon Voice, Parate had accosted and slapped senior civil judge K R Deshpande outside a lift on the seventh floor of the Nagpur District and Sessions court around noon on Wednesday .
