OSUN RE-RUN: SDP distances self from Omisore’s Alliance with APC

Fresh report reaching NEWS FLAKES NG as at PRESS TIME has it that the Social Democratic Party, SDP has made a quick reaction to the purported alliance reached by its Osun State Gubernatorial Candidate, Senator Iyiola Omisore with the All Progressives Congress APC, over tomorrow’s re-run elections in the state.

In a statement signed by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Alfa Mohammed, the party strongly disassociated itself from the alleged “inter party Negotiations and Conclusions” reached by its candidate in the state.

OSUN RE-RUN ELECTION: SDP DISTANCES SELF FROM INTER PARTY NEGOTIATIONS AND CONCLUSIONS REACHED BY OMISORE, ITS OSUN STATE GOVERNORSHIP CANDIDATE.

The Social Democratic Party (SDP) would like to make it categorically clear that the National Leadership of the party was not part of the recent developments involving our party’s gubernatorial candidate, Senator Iyiola Omisore of Osun State, and the conclusions arrived at.

Senator Omisore had earlier on Wednesday announced his decision to work with the APC ahead of tomorrow’s re-run elections slated to take place in the seven polling units located in four local government areas of Osun State where voided votes were recorded by INEC last Saturday and the commission had consequently fixed  tomorrow Thursday September 27 as date for the Supplementary polls.

PDP’s candidate, Senator Ademola Adeleke leads his APC counterpart, Gboyega Oyetola with 353 votes.
