Kenny Dalgish had tested positive for coronavirus earlier this week despite showing no signs of the virus - The 69-year-old won a number of titles with the Reds both as player and manager

Liverpool legend Kenny Dalglish has been
discharged from hospital just days after testing
positive for coronavirus.
The 69-year-old was rushed to the hospital earlier this month for an infection which "required
intravenous antibiotics."


But upon further examination, it was established he had contracted the novel coronavirus despite showing no symptoms of the infection.

 

Speaking on his speedy healing, the 69-year-old thanked the National Health Services for the care and of support.

 

 

"People may think my name got me the best of care
but every patient in the NHS gets the best of care ,"
Dalglish told The Sunday Post.


"As a nation, we are lucky to have them and I wish them all well as they work tirelessly to help the country through this pandemic," he added.

 

 


Dalglish won a number of titles through his illustrious football career that saw him ply his trade with Scottish giants, Celtic, before moving to
Liverpool in 1977.
