Nigeria COVID19 cases exceed 7,000 as NCDC records 339 fresh cases

Nigeria's total number of confirmed Coronavirus cases has exceeded the 7,000 as the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC late Thursday late May 21, 2020 recorded 339 new cases of the virus across the country. 

 

NEWS FLAKES NG reports that this latest development now brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 7,016 with a total casualty figure of 211 till date. 

 

Details of the new confirmed cases are as follows;

139-Lagos

28-Kano

28-Oyo

25-Edo

22-Katsina

18-Kaduna

14-Jigawa

13-Yobe

13-Plateau

11-FCT

8-Gombe

5-Ogun

4-Bauchi

4-Nasarawa

3-Delta

2-Ondo

1-Rivers

1-Adamawa

 

7016 cases of #COVID19 in Nigeria

Discharged: 1907

Deaths: 211

 

The NCDC however announced the recovery of a total of 1907 patients who have so far been discharged from the isolation centres nationwide. 

 

Cross - River and Kogi remain the only two states in the country yet to record any confirmed case of the virus.
